Training Programs :: Spring Half Marathon & 10k 2012

Spring Half Marathon & 10k Training 2012

It's simple. Train better now... and run better this summer.

Join the CES Spring Half Marathon & 10K Training and keep motivated through the cold winter and get in great shape! The program will be building up towards the following races:

  • Country Music Half Marathon (Nashville, TN on Saturday 4/28/12)
  • Arbor Day 10K (Morton Arboretum in Lisle, IL on Sunday, 4/22/12)

NOTE: As much as we'd love to have you travel with us, you do NOT have to travel in order to join the team.

Door County Half Marathon group

CES Spring Training also works perfectly for many other races that you might be training for:

  • Wisconsin Half Marathon
  • Kentucky Derby Half Marathon
  • Chicago Spring Half Marathon
  • Cincinnati Flying Pig
  • The Indianapolis Mini Marathon
  • Crazylegs 8K
  • and many others!

Whichever race you choose... train to be your best with CES.

Two Locations & Two Distances to Choose From!

The Spring Training program will be available at BOTH Chicago-area Fleet Feet Sports stores! This gives us a WARM, DRY place to start, a safe place for your personals, and a fun place to have coffee or breakfast with your running buddies after the long runs!

Train with us for either a Half Marathon or 10K — that's right, you don't only have to train for and run a half marathon to get or stay fit over the winter!

Group training sessions are held twice/week at each location:

  • Wednesdays & Saturdays at the Old Town location (1620 N. Wells St) OR
  • Thursdays & Sundays at the Lincoln Square location (4762 N. Lincoln)

You get to pick the location that works the best for you! This also means that if you can't make it to your regular location, you can still join the gang at the other store! Everybody wins!
