Our experienced team of Chicago Endurance Sports coaches have created a custom, 12-week training program that will challenge & motivate you, no matter what your experience level is. Looking for a PR? Our coaches will challenge you with a challenging, effective, smart training program to help you record a personal best. Get motivated, meet some great people, have fun and get in shape all at the same time.
Group Training Details
We know that staying physically active helps to maintain both physical and mental health. We also know the HUGE mental benefit of pushing together as a group, seeing friends’ faces (even if they’re behind a mask!) and sharing the joy of running. We’re thrilled to announce we'll be coordinating safe, small, socially distanced group runs at (or near) all of our regular locations this season! Safety & health come first, so modifications will be made to keep everyone safe. We want to make everything as clear and upfront as possible, and ensure that we can live up to and exceed the expectations of ALL of our athletes.
Unfortunately, due to strict capacity & health limitations, we will not be able to utilize the indoor space at our beloved Fleet Feet stores prior to or after these runs. We’ll meet outside for VERY brief announcements, then head off for our runs based on pace. Your coaches and experienced CES Mentors will guide you along the way.
Small-group training sessions will be held twice per week at each location. NOTE: the specific meeting location will be outside of the store, and will be within a few blocks of the stores listed below:

Pick the location that works the best for you. If you can't make it to your regular location, you can still join another group at another location.
COVID 19 Guidelines for Spring Training Group Runs
Participant Guidelines / Expectations
Do not participate if you are feeling sick or ill, and or have a fever, or if you have been in contact with someone unrecovered from COVID-19.
Persons from high-risk groups for COVID-19 complications should consult their physician before participating.
Do not engage in traditional forms of physical contact (handshakes, high-fives, hugs, partner stretching, etc.).
Do not engage in close group pictures/selfies.
Only spit or blow nose into a tissue or handkerchief.
Do not share personal items, such as hydration, energy gels, towels, etc.
Participants may be required to exit the group activity should their actions not meet expectations and or they are creating risk for themselves or others.
Mask / Face covers:
Participants, volunteers & staff must wear a mask or face cover at all times before and after the group activity or in any situations where a distance of 6 ft cannot be maintained between others. Runners may remove their face cover while running when they can maintain social distance.
Virtual Training Option
Whether you live too far away and can't make it to the group workouts, or just aren’t comfortable meeting in small groups yet, our Virtual training option is the perfect solution. You'll receive your daily training schedule and coaching support online (via Training Peaks), weekly online clinics & coach chats, as well as the weekly email newsletter with coaching tips, updates and more. The virtual program is a unique & effective way to train on your own with virtual support from a helpful team of coaches.
NEW FOR 2021: VIRTUAL 1:1 COACHING ADD-ON OPTION (Monthly)
If you are looking for a more personalized, custom training plan along with one-to-one coaching consultation, we’re excited to offer this new, monthly coaching add-on opportunity for our Spring Training members. This is perfect for anyone with a non-traditional work schedule, unique training needs or just wants that extra bit of attention and customization to get you where you want to be.
In addition to the benefits listed above for Spring Training + CES Performance Training, Virtual 1:1 Monthly Coaching provides the following, additional monthly benefits:
Initial consultation with Coach (15 minutes)
Weekly individual Coach check-in email (or up to 30-minute phone call/month)
